Scottdale to Receive $25,000 from Frito-Lay and The Neighbor's Keeper Fund, created by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Tim McGraw will be performing in Atlanta, GA on 05/15/2010. Tim and The Neighbor’s Keeper Fund (created by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill) of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee have partnered with Frito-Lay to make a gift to a charity in several of the stops on his tour and Scottdale Child Development & Family Resource Center is one!  Scottdale was selected to be a recipient based on the recommendation of The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.

Look out for Scottdale as Frito-Lay will feature the Center in some ads in grocery stores in its community.

Scottdale Awarded Book Grant to Continue Promoting Early Literacy

First Book-Metro Atlanta awarded Scottdale with a book grant for approximately 900 books to integrate into its existing literacy curriculum.

First Book provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy – access to books. An innovative leader in social enterprise, First Book has distributed more than 65 million free and low-cost books to disadvantaged children and the programs that serve them.

2009-2010 Program Openings

Scottdale Child Development Center has openings in the Infant, Toddler 1 and Three's classrooms.

Documents required for registration include:

  • Social Security card,
  • Birth certificate card,
  • Birth Certificate (with seal),
  • Certificate of Immunization (form 3231), and
  • Eye, ear and dental form (form 3330).
